Anwesha Kolkata actively participated in an awareness programme on deaf-blind On 27th June 2018, popularly known as “Helen Keller Day”  organized by the dept. of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Govt. of W.B at Minerva Theatre, Kolkata.

Anwesha Kolkata organized the parents’ awareness programmes at  Agartala and Dharmanagar of Tripura , one of our north eastern states during 8-11 June 2018.

The EI&PS children, their parents, teachers and administrators have celebrated the World Environment Day at Anwesha Kolkata office by planting a tree.

A workshop on “Process Documentation” was conducted on 8th May 2018 by Mr.Gautam Chaudhuri, well known expert in the disability field.

Few deaf children and young adults of Anwesha Kolkata participated in a cultural programme “বর্ষবরণ ” organized by COLORS group on 22nd April 2018 at CLT Aban Mahal, Dhakuria. It was covered in leading Bengali Daily newspaper Bartaman. a day long workshop was conducted on Organizational Development on 20th April 2018 at Anwesha Kolkata office. Mr. Supriya Kumar, Technical Advisor of Deaf Child Worldwide was cordially invited to conduct the session for our core team members.
